City Tour (Half Day/Full Day)<br />

Discover old and modern Frankfurt on this tour, which shows you the most important sights of the former coronation city of the German Emperors<br />

and the modern European Banking Centre. <strong>Highlights</strong> include the historic Römer City Hall, the Cathedral and Paul’s Church. The bus then stops so<br />

you can walk through Römer Square and into the old town district of Sachsenhausen, to Goethe House, birthplace of the great poet and home to the<br />

international fair grounds. The tour takes in the banking quarter, the old Hauptwache and the shopping centre Zeil and one of the largest European<br />

rail stations.<br />

Heidelberg Excursion (Full Day)<br />

Visit charming Heidelberg, a city steeped in tradition, on the River Neckar. One of the first traces of ancient man, a 600,000-year-old jawbone was<br />

found on the city’s outskirts in 1907 and a copy is on display at the Museum of the Palatinate. Visit Karlsplatz (Karl’s Square), which was named<br />

after Grand Duke Karl Friedrich of Baden and provides an unhindered view of the city’s beautiful historic castle. The Philosophenweg (Philosophers’<br />

Walk) offers many good view points of Heidelberg. Make a trip to the top of the Heiligenberg, which has the ruin of the Abbey of St Stephan on one<br />

side and the Thingstätte amphitheatre nearby. Pieces of historic Heidelberg you must see are the ruins of the Abbey of Michael with its impressive<br />

view over the Neckar Valley. This tour lasts around 5.5 hours and includes your castle entrance fee and a lunchbox.<br />

River Cruise Tour on The Rhine (Full Day)<br />

You will enjoy an unforgettable day trip to the Rhine River Valley, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. There will be time to admire the<br />

magnificent River Rhine and quaint villages and vineyards. The Rhine has more medieval castles to admire than anywhere else in the world.<br />

Keep an eye out for the famous Loreley Rock; enjoy a gorgeous view from the Niederwald Monument and take a cable car ride (optional) from<br />

the top of the hills in summertime. Lunch in a beautiful restaurant by the river is included, along with a wonderful boat trip on a Rhine steamer<br />

alongside the famous river panorama up to St Goarshausen. You will be invited to enjoy a wine tasting and there is also time for a spot of shopping<br />

at Rüdesheim/Drosselgasse.<br />
