City Tour and Castle “Schönbrunn” (Full Day)<br />

This tour gives you an incredible impression of the most significant historical sights in Vienna. You’ll discover the Ringstrasse with its magnificent<br />

buildings like the Museum of Applied Arts, the State Opera House, the Museum of Fine Arts and the Museum of Natural History. Other historic<br />

buildings of interest include the Hofburg, Parliament House, City Hall, the Burgtheater, the University and Victoria Church. You will also see the<br />

Giant Ferris Wheel at the Viennese amusement park called “Prater”. The highlight of this tour is a visit to the showrooms of Schönbrunn Palace,<br />

the former summer residence of Maria Theresia and the Habsburg family. On the way back to the Opera House you will pass by Belvedere Palace,<br />

the former summer residence of Prince Eugen, where you can also get off and walk to the city centre, which is only 10 minutes away.<br />

A full-day excursion through the charming villages and beautiful vineyards of the Wachau region. The mighty Danube flows through this romantic<br />

scenery and from April to October you can enjoy a boat trip along the river. You will pass the Dürnestein Castle, where King Richard The Lionheart<br />

was imprisoned while waiting for his ransom to arrive from England, and visit the wine merchant town of Krems. To complete your day, you will<br />

head to Melk, known as the “Cradle of Austria,” to visit the magnificent Benedictine Abbey.<br />
