Expedition – the equipment
On 21 st of October last year Stappert celebrated its first Fittings Day at the Niederaula site. Some
50 customers from all over Germany were pleased to accept the invitation and experienced some
veritable “autumn magic”.

The occasion for this unusual
action was the restocking of the
extensive range of fittings in the
Niederaula warehouse. Thanks to
this, customers can now again
obtain the perfect combination
of pipes, fittings, bars and sections
directly from a single source,
namely from the Stappert sales
office responsible for them. That
sales can provide what it pro mises
at all times was demon strated impressively
on the Fittings Day,
because in Nieder aula the guests
experienced at first hand the wide
range of options which a state-of-
the-art Stappert warehouse offers.
Discovering variety
The celebration took place in an
appropriately decorated marquee
which had been erected on the
Niederaula site for this occasion.
The Product Manager of the tube,
pipe and fittings segment, Bernd
Gerdes, welcomed the guests
and ensured everyone was in the
right mood for the day’s programme.
After enjoy ing coffee and cake
the guests then set off on a voyage
of discovery through the various
ware house areas. In small groups
they obtained a close-up view of
the bar warehouse, the pipe and
fittings warehouse, the external
warehouse for large pipes, and the
machine hall for surface refinement.
At each stage it was possible
to experience the entire variety
of Stappert‘s “… nature of steel”,
and the guests showed they were
profoundly impressed by the capa-
cities, product range and services –
from sawing to refining through to
quality checks.

Following this expedition, all the
guests were invited to an evening
in the marquee where they had the
opportunity to talk to each other.
The caringly designed, autumnal
decoration and the heated barbecue
area created a cosy atmosphere.
As they enjoyed culinary
delights from the barbecue, bread
on a stick and a large selection of
cocktails the guests were able to
talk about what they had experienced,
and individual customer
requirements were discussed.
The Fittings Day was a total
success for the guests who had
travelled to it and consequently
also for Stappert. It is planned to
repeat it next year.
