Highly directional communications are needed<br />

– Dramatically higher data rates<br />

– Low probability of detection and intercept<br />

– Resistance to jamming.<br />

applications.<br />

Current mobile ad hoc networking techniques<br />

nei<strong>the</strong>r embrace directionality nor differentiate<br />

QoS.<br />
