PSG Newsletter 12
The end of the school year is here. We would like to wish you all a happy and safe summer. For
those of you not returning to the school next term we would like to extend our best wishes for
the future and for all who are returning see you on September 5 th .

We would like to say a big welcome to the new members for
the PSG board 2012/2013 they are Carla Pedrosa, Vice Chair
secondary, Emma McLennan Vice chair Primary and Tracey
Locke Treasurer. Riki will serve another year as Chair while
Norma will take over the role of Secretary.
We would like to extend our gratitude towards the members
leaving the board, Francoise Lubin, Valerie Lamere Eberhard and Pamela Govindin for all your
hard work and dedication in the last year.

Translators needed!
The PSG would like to try make the PSG newsletter accessible to more parents! This is a call for
parents who can help us translate the news letter into other languages e.g: Polish, Japanese,
arabic etc.

PSG WALK THURSDAY 21ST JUNE
The final” walk” was a very interesting one, some travelling by car while others by bike, the
event was a wine tasting at the Hoeve Nekum, Maastricht. The owner gave an informative talk
on the history of wine making in Limburg and the grape varieties he uses, followed by the
tasting of the wine he makes. An enjoyable morning was had by all. Thanks go to Mariette,
Tracey and Sigrid for organising the walks/rides.

Thank you event for Volunteers THURSDAY 28 th JUNE
The thank you event was a huge success, and gave us the opportunity to thank many parents for
their great supoort during the school year.
We visited the Zonneberg Grotten for the volunteers thank you event, 45 parents were led
down the caves where we were told about how the caves came about.
We followed the visit to the caves with coffee and cake on the terrace
of the café Slavante
