The Bravehearts Charity Auction<br />

Following AMIC’s auction at the Ham Bacon & Smallgoods Competition last<br />

August that reaped $4,315 to benefit the Bravehearts Charity, another auction<br />

was held at the Awards Dinner and it was a resounding success.<br />

Our very own ‘Marilyn Monroe’ flirted and flitted from table to table adorned in dazzling diamonds<br />

that were up for auction. Thank you to all the generous members, sponsors and guests whose combined<br />

donations raised a total amount of $23,225.00 to top off this wonderful evening. A magnificent effort!!<br />

Sponsor donations from Devro, SCI Industries and Kemp <strong><strong>Meat</strong>s</strong> from Sarina helped create a flurry<br />

of bidding and were much appreciated.<br />

Thank you to Hetty Johnston of Bravehearts and her wonderful team in promoting an organization dedicated to providing therapy,<br />

support and advocacy services to survivors of child sexual assault.<br />
