Texture
Gel Mediums
Liquitex texture gels contain
particles that produce a variety
of unique effects. They may be
mixed with acrylic colours or mediums
and will dry flexible, non-yellowing
and water-resistant. Creates archival
builds for dimensional effects. Dry
texture gels can be painted
with acrylic or oil colours, and
used as an underpainting
textural ground.
Blended Fibers Gel
A thick gel that, when dry, gives the
effect of flexible fibers.

Gel
Mediums
Gel mediums modify acrylic
paints in a variety of ways and,
since they contain acrylic resins,
tend to improve adhesion and
durability. They increase the body
of thinner acrylic paints, tend to
retain brushstroke and the detail of
built-up surfaces. Gels add ‘open
time’ as they tend to dry slower
than thinner mediums. They
dry transparent to
translucent.
