Introduction
Well, the time is finally here.
Your son or daughter is
moving on to postsecondary
education. They’re excited,
making plans, buying supplies,
checking out websites and
discussing their choices with
friends.
You, on the other hand, have
a million questions. Sure, you
trust their decision and know
they’re taking everything into
consideration. After all, you
helped them reach this point.
You gave them the skills they
need to carefully select the
right place for their education.
Perhaps you looked through
the brochures with them and

maybe even attended the tour
days. Still ... it would be nice
to know as much as they do
about the place they’re going to
attend, wouldn’t it?
That’s why we’ve
developed Smart Talk.
It’s a resource for parents,
designed to help you have an
informed conversation with
your son or daughter about
his or her plans. It gives you
information on the processes
they need to follow and the
services they can expect to find
in their first weeks. If we give
you the same information they
receive, then you’ll be able to
talk to them with credibility.
