ANIA-CARING: Meet the Board
President
Victoria M. Bradley RN, DNP, FHIMSS
Lexington, Kentucky

Victoria M. Bradley DNP, RN, FHIMSS, CPHIMS is the Chief Nursing
Informatics Officer at the Eclipsys Corporation. Currently Dr. Bradley also serves
as Assistant Professor, adjunct faculty for the University of Kentucky, College of
Nursing. She is a HIMSS Fellow, a past Vice Chair on the HIMSS Board of
Directors and a 2005 recipient of the HIMSS Informatics Nursing Leadership
Award.
Dr. Bradley served as the President of ANIA this past year and is looking
forward to creating a stronger nursing informatics organization with the merger of
ANIA and CARING. She is much honored to serve as the first President of
ANIA-CARING.
Dr. Bradley was active for many years in the specialty of emergency nursing as
an educator, director, speaker and author. She is a past president of the Emergency
Nurses Association and the Emergency Nurses Foundation.
Dr. Bradley received her bachelor and masters in nursing from Wright State
University, Dayton, Ohio. In 2005, she received a Doctorate in Nursing Practice
from the University of Kentucky.
She resides in Lexington, Kentucky with her husband. She has two grown sons
and one grandson. For fun she enjoys reading, cooking, knitting and hanging out
with grandpa and the grandbaby!

Jerry Chamberlain, MS, RN-BC

Jerry Chamberlain, MS, RN-BC, is a Healthcare Executive at Cerner
Corporation where he works with clients and system engineers to implement
software solutions to meet the changing needs of healthcare providers and
organizations. He travels frequently for his role and appreciates the value of
connecting directly with bedside practitioners to understand their needs and the
impact of IT enablers.
Mr. Chamberlain holds a master’s degree in informatics from the University of
Maryland and a bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Nebraska. His
informatics career began during time spent as a critical care and transplant ICU
nurse at Mayo Medical Center in Rochester, MN. It was there where he was
exposed to new technologies and served on a organization-wide informatics
committee to represent the impact of HCIT changes to nursing workflow. He then
moved on to obtain formal education at the University of Maryland’s program and
has since moved into a professional role at Cerner.
Mr. Chamberlain serves on several advisory boards for informatics curriculum
development and has guest-lectured in several of these same programs on the role
of nursing informatics professionals in the corporate environment. For the past
five years he has severed as President of CARING and is looking forward to the
strength and opportunities now available as CARING merges with ANIA.
