The internationally successful fashion company Marc Cain
was founded in 1973 by its Managing Director Helmut
Schlotterer. The world wide operating business is managed
from its headquarters in Bodelshausen, Germany. The credo
of Marc Cain sets the highest standards for design, quality,
materials, the latest production techniques and correct fit.
The innovative spirit and distinctiveness of Marc Cain’s
product lines are based on the German production facility.
The company currently has a staff of 800 employees in
Germany alone and a sales volume of 210 Million Euros in
2011. The selective distribution strategy is characterized by
127 Marc Cain stores and 243 shop-in-stores in 59 countries
and more than 1,460 further top-quality specialized shops all
over the world.
