Events Round-up Starry Night Gala Christmas Dinner The annual British Chamber of Commerce Christmas ‘Starry Night’ gala dinner took place on Friday, 9th December, this time in the Corinthia Towers Hotel. Starting with a cocktail reception in the lobby area, guests were ushered into the main room by the moderator for the evening, Steve Gove, and were met by a very ‘Starry Night’ spectacle; with the room decked out in special lights, stars, snow and candles there was a truly Christmas theme which continued throughout the evening with a traditional English Christmas dinner, music, dancing and, of course, a lot to drink… �e silent auction was, as ever, a great success, raising over 70,000 CZK for the Chamber’s two favourite charities, Pomozte Dětem and Portus and, of course, we should say thank you to our sponsors, donators of items for the silent auction and those who bought the items.
