Bhd. acquired Berger Protective and Marine Paints from Berger International Sdn. Bhd. on 12 March 2012. The signing ceremony was held at Boustead Sissons Paints office at Menara UAC, Mutiara Damansara. With these new range of products, Boustead Sissons Paints will step up its efforts to secure painting works in the lucrative ship repair and maintenance industry as well as the oil and gas industry.
Royale treatment for secretaries Secretaries Week at The Royale Chulan Kuala Lumpur was celebrated on 16 April 2012 with the return of the Malaysian 80's Singing Sensation and International Artiste, Dato’ Shake. The guests-of-honour at the event were Lembaga Tabung Angkatan Tentera's Chairman, Y.Bhg. Laksamana Tan Sri Dato' Sri Mohd Anwar Hj. Mohd Nor (R); Boustead Holdings Berhad's Deputy Chairman/ Group Managing Director, Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato' Lodin Wok Kamaruddin and H.E. Madame Martine Dorance, the Ambassador of France. Secretaries were singing along to some of Dato’ Shake's classic tracks right from the first song on stage, 'Kita Bertemu Lagi.' Shake also threw in a few of his popular French numbers such as 'Tu Sais Je T’aime (You Know I Love You)', 'Avec Elle', and 'Demons et Mervielle' which had the audience swaying to the catchy beats. The crowd went wild at some of the most awaited tracks of Dato' Shake, made popular back in the 80's, such as 'Umi', 'Kau Bungaku' and 'Anugerah Dari Kegagalan', followed by some of his classic English songs such as 'What Now My Love' and 'Born For Music.' Announcement Dato' Shake rendering a classic song A sumptuous five-course western luncheon was served whilst prizes comprising room stays, dining and F&B vouchers from all the Royale Bintang Hotel properties were given away to a few lucky secretaries and guests.
