Royale treatment for secretaries<br />

Secretaries Week at <strong>The</strong> Royale<br />

Chulan Kuala Lumpur was<br />

celebrated on 16 April 2012 with the<br />

return <strong>of</strong> the <strong>Malaysia</strong>n 80's Singing<br />

Sensation and International Artiste,<br />

Dato’ Shake.<br />

<strong>The</strong> guests-<strong>of</strong>-honour at the<br />

event were Lembaga Tabung<br />

Angkatan Tentera's Chairman, Y.Bhg.<br />

Laksamana Tan Sri Dato' Sri Mohd<br />

Anwar Hj. Mohd Nor (R); Boustead<br />

Holdings Berhad's Deputy Chairman/<br />

Group Managing Director, Y.Bhg. Tan<br />

Sri Dato' Lodin Wok Kamaruddin and<br />

H.E. Madame Martine Dorance, the<br />

Ambassador <strong>of</strong> France.<br />

Secretaries were singing along to<br />

some <strong>of</strong> Dato’ Shake's classic tracks<br />

right from the first song on stage, 'Kita<br />

Bertemu Lagi.' Shake also threw in a<br />

few <strong>of</strong> his popular French numbers<br />

such as 'Tu Sais Je T’aime (You Know<br />

I Love You)', 'Avec Elle', and 'Demons<br />

et Mervielle' which had the audience<br />

swaying to the catchy beats.<br />

<strong>The</strong> crowd went wild at some <strong>of</strong><br />

the most awaited tracks <strong>of</strong> Dato'<br />

Shake, made popular back in the<br />

80's, such as 'Umi', 'Kau Bungaku' and<br />

'Anugerah Dari Kegagalan', followed<br />

by some <strong>of</strong> his classic English songs<br />

such as 'What Now My Love' and<br />

'Born For Music.'<br />

bang as all the ladies shook<br />
