First of all, I want to thank you for your support and loyalty to Pope John
Paul II High School. Last year, more than 300 donors responded to our
request for assistance by providing a gift to the Annual Fund. Your generosity
allowed us to surpass our $100,000 goal with gifts totaling $102,185. This
year, we need even greater participation as our goal has been set at $125,000.
Many of you already know that tuition alone does not fully cover the cost
of a Pope education. The school must rely on fund-raising efforts like the
Annual Fund to help bridge the gap between tuition revenue and the higher
cost of educating each student. In effect, the tuition of every student at Pope
is subsidized by the generosity of others. Remember, when you make a gift
of support to the Annual Fund, you are really providing a silent scholarship
that benefits every student, every day at Pope.
As you reflect upon the many accomplishments showcased in this report,
please give consideration to using the donor envelope inside to make a gift to the Annual Fund. If you prefer,
