NEW FELLOW ORIENTATION<br />

A required meeting for all 2012 New Fellows to meet each<br />
other, and to become familiar with the Induction process.<br />
<strong>Academy</strong> Open Forum<br />
Date: Friday, October 12, 12pm – 1pm<br />
Location: Regency Ballroom<br />
This is an open meeting at which Fellows will have the<br />
opportunity to discuss the <strong>Academy</strong> programs and policies,<br />
bylaws, as well as the <strong>Academy</strong>’s strategic directions.<br />
FELLOW SELECTION OPEN FORUM<br />
Date: Friday, October 12, 4pm – 5pm<br />
Location: Yellowstone/Everglades Room, 2nd Floor<br />
This forum is a session for Fellows who are interested in<br />
sponsoring applicants for fellowship. Members from the<br />
Fellow Selection Committee will discuss the application<br />
and selection process.<br />

BUSINESS MEETING<br />
Date: Saturday, October 13, 8:30am – 10am<br />
(breakfast will be provided)<br />

All Fellows are encouraged to attend the Annual Business<br />
Meeting where this year the Board will be engaging in a less<br />
formal conversation with the membership.<br />

ANNUAL MEETING & CONFERENCE POLICIES<br />
ADMISSION TO SESSIONS<br />
<strong>of</strong>ficial name badges will be required for admission<br />
to all academy sessions. All Annual Meeting & Conference<br />
attendees receive a name badge with their registration<br />
materials. Name badges should be worn at all times inside the<br />
hotel, as badges will be used to control access to sessions and<br />
activities. Attendees are cautioned against wearing their name<br />
badges while away from the hotel as badges draw unwanted<br />
attention to your status as visitors to the Washington DC area.<br />
ADMISSION BY TICKETS<br />
Admission into the Living Legends Celebration Reception and<br />
the Induction Ceremony and Strolling Dinner are included in the<br />
FULL registration price. The FRIDAY only registration fee includes<br />
admission to the Living Legends Ceremony and the SATURDAY<br />
only registration fee includes admission to the Induction<br />
Ceremony and Strolling Dinner. Your registration packet should<br />
include all tickets, including any tickets purchased for guests.<br />
If you feel you are missing a ticket, please check with the HELP<br />
DESK. Tickets will be collected at the door by ushers.<br />
ATTIRE<br />
Appropriate dress for the Annual Meeting & Conference<br />
is business casual. A jacket or sweater is recommended as<br />
temperatures in meeting rooms may vary. Dress for the Living<br />
Legends Ceremony & Reception is formal business attire (suits<br />
and ties for men, business-like dress with jackets for women).<br />
Dress for the Induction Ceremony is cocktail-to-formal, with<br />
black tie optional for men.<br />
CELL PHONE PROTOCOL<br />
Please ensure that cell phone ringers are turned <strong>of</strong>f during<br />
all sessions.<br />
