NEW FELLOW ORIENTATION
Date: Friday, October 12, 7am – 8:30am
Location: Capitol A/B
A required meeting for all 2012 New Fellows to meet each
other, and to become familiar with the Induction process.
Academy Open Forum
Date: Friday, October 12, 12pm – 1pm
Location: Regency Ballroom
This is an open meeting at which Fellows will have the
opportunity to discuss the Academy programs and policies,
bylaws, as well as the Academy’s strategic directions.
FELLOW SELECTION OPEN FORUM
Date: Friday, October 12, 4pm – 5pm
Location: Yellowstone/Everglades Room, 2nd Floor
This forum is a session for Fellows who are interested in
sponsoring applicants for fellowship. Members from the
Fellow Selection Committee will discuss the application
and selection process.

BUSINESS MEETING
Date: Saturday, October 13, 8:30am – 10am
(breakfast will be provided)
Location: Regency Ballroom
All Fellows are encouraged to attend the Annual Business
Meeting where this year the Board will be engaging in a less
formal conversation with the membership.

ANNUAL MEETING & CONFERENCE POLICIES
ADMISSION TO SESSIONS
official name badges will be required for admission
to all academy sessions. All Annual Meeting & Conference
attendees receive a name badge with their registration
materials. Name badges should be worn at all times inside the
hotel, as badges will be used to control access to sessions and
activities. Attendees are cautioned against wearing their name
badges while away from the hotel as badges draw unwanted
attention to your status as visitors to the Washington DC area.
ADMISSION BY TICKETS
Admission into the Living Legends Celebration Reception and
the Induction Ceremony and Strolling Dinner are included in the
FULL registration price. The FRIDAY only registration fee includes
admission to the Living Legends Ceremony and the SATURDAY
only registration fee includes admission to the Induction
Ceremony and Strolling Dinner. Your registration packet should
include all tickets, including any tickets purchased for guests.
If you feel you are missing a ticket, please check with the HELP
DESK. Tickets will be collected at the door by ushers.
ATTIRE
Appropriate dress for the Annual Meeting & Conference
is business casual. A jacket or sweater is recommended as
temperatures in meeting rooms may vary. Dress for the Living
Legends Ceremony & Reception is formal business attire (suits
and ties for men, business-like dress with jackets for women).
Dress for the Induction Ceremony is cocktail-to-formal, with
black tie optional for men.
CELL PHONE PROTOCOL
Please ensure that cell phone ringers are turned off during
all sessions.
