A round-up of the 13 trade fairs
Hannover Messe will be introducing the entire industrial chain when it comes
to creating value in a truly unique way. In fact, the 2011 edition will be
hosting all thirteen trade fairs under the same roof. Let’s take a brief look at the
characteristics of these fairs.
Industrial Automation. Process, factory and building automation systems
and solutions.
Motion, Drive & Automation (MDA). Power transmission and fluid
power technology, which is held every two years in the setting of Hannover
Messe.
Energy. A showcase and technological proposals for energy production from
both traditional and renewable sources.
Power Plant Technology. A platform for innovative technologies for coalfired,
gas, oil, hydroelectric and steam thermoelectric power plants.
Wind. Systems, services and components for wind energy. After successfully
making its debut in 2009, it is now held every two years during Hannover
Messe
MobiliTec. Hybrid and electric powertrain technologies, mobile energy
storage and alternative mobility technologies.
Digital Factory. Integrated industrial software solutions, in particular for
production and product development.
ComVac. Compressed air and vacuum technology, which now has a key role
to play in many production processes.
Industrial Supply Industrial. The entire process chain on the
subcontracting market, which is a combination of the know-how regarding
materials and technologies, development and design.
Coiltechnica. Technologies for manufacturing coils, electric motors,
generators and transformers.
SurfaceTechnology. Surface treatment techniques, ranging from pretreatments
and coatings to painting, electroplating and plasma technology plus
nanotechnologies.
MicroNanoTec. Application-based micro-system technology,
nanotechnologies and laser technology used for micro-processing materials.
Research & Technology. A showcase of all the new technologies, this year, for
the first time, it will be given the title of the leading international exhibition
of research, development and technology transfer.
Special initiatives from Progettare
The magazine Progettare, as in previous editions of Hannover Messe, has
created a highly effective package of editorial initiatives for 2011,
dedicated exclusively to the products and new technologies on offer from
the exhibitors.
The special April issue of Progettare and the supplement Fluidotecnica,
distributed to all exhibitors, contains dossiers, articles on research market
data and interviews with the main players within the industry.
Just as interesting is the special edition of Progettare International, a
tabloid format publication written entirely in English, containing
information about markets, companies, associations and ‘Made in Italy’
products regarding the following industries: pneumatic, hydraulic,
mechanical and electromechanical components, materials, mechanical
and power transmissions, motion control and industrial automations.
The editorial team will be on hand at the Fiera Milano Editore stand to
meet the people exhibiting and visiting Hannover Messe who are expected
to turn up in their droves.
France: partner country
France will be attending Hannover Messe 2011 in the role as
Partner Country under the banner of the slogan ‘Innovation
for sustainable development’ and it is hinging its presence on
the issues of energy, mobility and energy efficiency. An ambitious
idea, which will make it possible to illustrate the level of
competitiveness of French companies in many application
sectors that represent the reference themes of the Hannover
exhibition: clean and renewable energy (excluding fossil and
nuclear sources), the city of the future (mobility and construction),
eco-technologies, materials, etc.
France is organising a number of specific activities aimed at
encouraging meetings and collaborations based on research
and development between French exhibitors and their counterparts
in Germany and around the world, especially
through the Mécafuture platform, which pools together seven
French cluster groups that are operative within mechanics
and material circles.
France, together with Germany, is one of Europe’s most important
industrialised countries. Germany, with a turnover of
114 billion Euros, was France’s top business partner in 2009.
