Use the addbw command to add a new backup window, which is a time and day<br />

range, to an existing list of backup windows.<br />

You must have the modify administrative domain's configuration right to use the<br />

addbw command.<br />

addbw::=<br />

addbw { --times/-t time-range[,time-range]... }<br />

day-specifier[,day-specifier]...<br />

--times/-t time-range ...<br />

Defines a time-of-day range. Refer to "time-range" on page 3-38 for a description of the<br />

time-range placeholder.<br />

day-specifier ...<br />

Defines the day ranges for the backup window. Refer to "day-specifier" on page 3-15<br />

for a description of the day-specifier placeholder.<br />

Example 2–1 creates backup windows so that backups can run from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on<br />

weekends and any time other than 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays.<br />
