2011 Bench-to-Bedside Awards
The Bench-to-Bedside (B2B) Program was launched in 1999, and 192 projects totaling about $44 million have been funded to date.
The program expanded in 2006 to include extramural collaborators with 77 grants supplemented so far. Over the past five cycles, extramural
interest in the program has greatly increased; in the current 2012 application cycle, investigators from 141 extramural institutions
were listed as collaborators or principal investigators on the 189 Letters of Intent.
