2009 Tadorna F1 105 A vigorous grower producing a medium-length white shaft and contrasting, upright, very dark blue-green foliage.<br />

Holds in the field for fall into winter harvest, and over winters where winter cold is moderate. Resistant to leaf<br />

diseases.<br />

2005 Arkansas F1 108 Non-bulbing winter-hardy strain. Semi upright, dark, blue-green foliage with 6 inch white shafts. Frost tolerant.<br />

2001 American Flag 120 Hardy 15 - 18" plants, blue-green leaves with long, thick (6 - 10" x 1½"), well-blanched white stalks. Good for<br />

fall and winter, grows very quickly. The standard variety for home gardens and market.<br />

2113 Grand Rapids TBR 42 Open Pollinated, has large bright green leaves that are broad with wavy curled edges. Resistant to tip burn.<br />

2108 Bon Vivant Blend 42 - 45 Mesclun mix, a fine blend containing: Tango, Royal Oak Leaf, Red Salad Bowl, Black <strong>Seed</strong>ed Simpson, Grand Rapids<br />

TBR, and Red Sails. Colors include; deep reds and bronze, and green ranging from dark emerald.<br />

2142 Amish Deer Tongue 45 Medium green triangular leaves form a loose, upright head. Pleasantly sharp flavor.<br />

2105 Black <strong>Seed</strong>ed Simpson 45 Vigorous and fast growing, this popular item develops large bunches of light green, curled, very tender leaves of<br />

top quality. Mildly heat tolerant. Not mosaic tested.<br />

2119 Green Ice 45 Less bitter than most lettuce varieties. Crisp textured, glossy leaves are more savoyed and darker green, with wavy<br />

and fringed leaf margins. Slow to bolt; long picking season. Remains firm and crunchy.<br />

2125 New Red Fire 45 Deep, intense red color carries well down each leaf. Slow to bolt and makes good weight. Compact and dense<br />

with excellent uniformity of form and color. Highly marketable leaf lettuce for spring, early summer, and fall in<br />

cooler regions.<br />

2129 Prizehead 45 Heads are medium large and upright with deeply curled leaves. Outer leaves and edges reddish-brown with inner<br />

leaves medium green. Very crisp and tender.<br />

2137 Ruby 45 Beautiful bright green frilled lettuce with savoyed leaves shaded with intense red, an improved strain for more vivid<br />

color. Heat resistance, long standing and slow to bolt.<br />

2143 Tango 45 Great for mesclun or salad mixes. Leaves are tender, deeply cut, and pointed with a beautiful green color. The<br />

uniform plants produce tender leaves that resemble endive and have a rich, pleasant flavor.<br />

2138 Salad Bowl, Green 45 - 68 This heat tolerant variety stays in prime condition for a long time. Each plant makes a decorative rosette of wavy,<br />

notched leaves and is always tender, sweet and delicious. It holds its flavor and fine texture despite summer heat.<br />
