foamLog<br />
There are limitations to monitoring a job by reading the log file, in particular it is difficult<br />
to extract trends over a long period of time<br />
The foamLog script is therefore provided to extract data of residuals, iterations, Courant<br />
number etc. from a log file <strong>and</strong> present it in a set of files that can be plotted graphically<br />
The user must run the application in the following manner:<br />
simpleFoam . pitzDaily > log<br />
Where the log file can be named arbitrarily<br />
The script is executed by<br />
foamLog <br />
The files are stored in a subdirectory of the case directory named logs<br />
