Financial Aid Process<br />
For first time loan borrowers with <strong>BTC</strong>, loan funds will not be available<br />
until 30 days after the start of classes for the first quarter.<br />

Awards can be seen on the Portal at www.btc.ctc.edu/financialaidportal. Any<br />
awards remaining after tuition and fees are paid will be released to the student<br />
after the quarter has begun. Awards will be released according to the option you<br />
have chosen when you activated the My <strong>BTC</strong> Card. Higher One will notify you by<br />
email or mobile alert when your refund is available. Students will not be paid for<br />
credits outside of their program. Students must be enrolled in at least 6 program<br />
credits to be eligible for student loans.<br />
