Registration Steps for Online Courses
Admission & Registration Steps
To enroll in an online course:
1. Locate the online class you want to take this quarterly schedule. All online
classes in this schedule are identified with a : symbol.
2. Register for your online class through the BTC website or in person.
If you need assistance after registering, there will be help in the BTC library the
first 2 weeks of each quarter (check www.btc.ctc.edu for available hours), or we
can assist you with your questions at any time at elearninghelp@btc.ctc.edu
3. After registering log onto: http://angel.btc.ctc.edu one week prior to class for
information about getting into your online classroom.
4. Books can purchased online or through the BTC bookstore.
6Pay Tuition and Fees
Tuition and fees payment is due by the date
specified on the College Calendar on the
BTC website under quicklinks. Pay online at
www.btc.ctc.edu/pay or at the cashier window
in the College Services building. You may pay
by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, or financial
aid award.

GET READY! is designed especially for students
new to BTC. In this information-packed session,
we’ll introduce you to all the resources you
need to be a successful BTC student. From
support systems and online services to advisors
and counselors, GET READY! will ensure that
you know where to find help when you need it.
This is your REAL first day of class!
8Purchase Books
Take your printed class schedule and the
bookstore staff will help find your required
books. BTC’s Campus Store is located in
Campus Center. Textbook lists can be found
at the bookstore or at www.btcbookstore.
com. The bookstore accepts cash, checks, VISA,
MasterCard and debit cards.
9Student ID Card
Purchase your student ID card at the bookstore.
You’ll need a Student ID Card OR photo ID for
certain registration transactions. Some BTC
programs require a Student ID card.
Your Student ID card qualifies you for
discounted WTA (Whatcom Transit Authority)
bus passes, discounts at many local vendors,
and access to the Western Washington
university and Whatcom Community College
libraries. IDs are available at the bookstore for
a cost of $7.50—bring your printed student
schedule.
