To enroll in an online course:<br />

1. Locate the online class you want to take this quarterly schedule. All online<br />

classes in this schedule are identified with a : symbol.<br />

2. Register for your online class through the <strong>BTC</strong> website or in person.<br />

If you need assistance after registering, there will be help in the <strong>BTC</strong> library the<br />

first 2 weeks of each quarter (check www.btc.ctc.edu for available hours), or we<br />

can assist you with your questions at any time at elearninghelp@btc.ctc.edu<br />

3. After registering log onto: http://angel.btc.ctc.edu one week prior to class for<br />

information about getting into your online classroom.<br />

4. Books can purchased online or through the <strong>BTC</strong> bookstore.<br />

6Pay Tuition and Fees<br />

Tuition and fees payment is due by the date<br />

specified on the <strong>College</strong> Calendar on the<br />

<strong>BTC</strong> website under quicklinks. Pay online at<br />

www.btc.ctc.edu/pay or at the cashier window<br />

in the <strong>College</strong> Services building. You may pay<br />

by cash, check, VISA, MasterCard, or financial<br />

aid award.<br />

schedule.<br />

GET READY! is designed especially for students<br />

new to <strong>BTC</strong>. In this information-packed session,<br />

we’ll introduce you to all the resources you<br />

need to be a successful <strong>BTC</strong> student. From<br />

support systems and online services to advisors<br />

and counselors, GET READY! will ensure that<br />

you know where to find help when you need it.<br />

This is your REAL first day of class!<br />

8Purchase Books<br />

Take your printed class schedule and the<br />

bookstore staff will help find your required<br />

books. <strong>BTC</strong>’s Campus Store is located in<br />

Campus Center. Textbook lists can be found<br />

at the bookstore or at www.btcbookstore.<br />

com. The bookstore accepts cash, checks, VISA,<br />

MasterCard and debit cards.<br />

9Student ID Card<br />

Purchase your student ID card at the bookstore.<br />

You’ll need a Student ID Card OR photo ID for<br />

certain registration transactions. Some <strong>BTC</strong><br />

programs require a Student ID card.<br />

Your Student ID card qualifies you for<br />

discounted WTA (Whatcom Transit Authority)<br />

bus passes, discounts at many local vendors,<br />

and access to the Western Washington<br />

university and Whatcom Community <strong>College</strong><br />

libraries. IDs are available at the bookstore for<br />

a cost of $7.50—bring your printed student<br />

schedule.<br />
