Endow a Chair in Temple Emanuel’s New Sanctuary
Create a lasting memory for yourself or your family by endowing one of the new chairs
in our beautifully renovated Corwin Family Sanctuary.
One of the most dramatic aspects of the synagogue transformation is the transition in the sanctuary from fi xed theater chairs
to ‘fl exible seating’ that can be arranged in a traditional forward-facing set-up or in the circular setting used for Shabbat
Unplugged. By leveling the sanctuary fl oor and introducing new upholstered armchairs, we have transformed how we use the
sanctuary and reclaimed our majestic worship space as our primary place of worship.
It is not too late to be a part of Temple Emanuel’s amazing synagogue transformation. We have raised more than 80% of
our capital campaign funds from 20% of the congregation. Now, we need your help to close out our
$10 $ 1 0
million Phase One fund-raising goal. If every temple family steps forward to support pport this project, we
will have achieved our second goal of 100% participation.
Please consider how you or your family can participate in a meaningful way ay in
the New Emanuel Campaign and join your congregational family to ensure ure a
strong future for Temple Emanuel’s next generation. Gifts of any amount t are
appreciated, and with a contribution of $3,600 you will be able to endow a new
sanctuary chair. A dedication plaque, attached to the left side of each chair r and
visible when seated in the chair, will acknowledge your generosity. Additional tional
recognition opportunities are available, such as Jerusalem Limestone Pavers for a
gift of $5,000.
