"We feel it is extremely important to support Temple Emanuel’s
Pillar Program because Temple Emanuel has been a intregral part
of our religious and spiritual experiences for over 60 years. This
started with experiences in our early youth, has continued all the
way through many life cycles, and now extends to both our son and
daughter, who also experience the joys of Temple Emanuel. And we
are delighted that our grandkids have begun their involvement with
Temple Emanuel, through the preschool and the Gesher program.
The Temple has been here for our family and we are pleased to
be able to be here for Temple Emanuel."
Making
Connections
Are you a single parent? Would you like to be in a group
with other single parents? Are you newly married?
Would you like to meet other families with school-age
children?
Chavurah (friendship) groups are forming now for all
ages and interests. A chavurah meets regularly (every
4-6 weeks) and people often form life-long friendships
Some chavurot (plural of chavurah) share Jewish
holidays together, attend concerts, have barbecues,
or work together on synagogue projects. Being in a
chavurah is often the best way to get to know other
people and form meaningful relationships. Please email
Leslie Shlecter at Chavurah@tebh.org if you would like
to be included or have any questions.
