April 16, 1999: Shawn Cooper opened fire at his high school. The attack resulted in zero<br />

May 21, 1998: Kip Kinkel opened fire in the cafeteria of his high school, killing two<br />

students and wounding 22 other people. Prior to the attack, Kinkel fatally shot his<br />

parents at home. Although several students were aware that Kinkel had devised a “hitlist”<br />

prior to the attack, no one alerted authorities.<br />
