Does away with air problems - now also in small systems
Plumbers and heating system operators
know about these stories:
„... the room is cold again, once again
there is air in the radiator, you will need
to deaerate, connect the water hose
and make up water again...“
The reflex ’servitec 30’ is available for
small systems with a water content up
to 8 m 3 and finally resolves these kind
of never-ending problems. The ’servitec
30’ monitors your heating system
24 hours a day during summer and
winter, centrally deaerates and automatically
refills make-up water in case
of an inadmissible pressure loss.
reflex ’servitec 30’
- a proven and reliable principle
’servitec’ systems haven proven themselves
in thousands of stations in residential
buildings, in the industry and the
district heating for more than a decade.
The high level of effectiveness and
reliability of the ’servitec’ principle
was demonstrated through numerous
measurements performed by the Technical
University of Dresden.
Thanks to persistent and continuous
development work, Reflex was able to
use the method that is based on the
spraying of system water in a special
vacuum tube for a new concept.
The vacuum space is now located
directly inside the pump housing.
The evolving product is customized for
small system in an economic and
functional way.
The result:
’servitec 30’ –
utmost effectiveness even
in confined spaces
Your advantages:
fully automated, central deaeration
controlled, automatic water make-up
with electronic monitoring
optimum operation of the diaphragm
pressure expansion vessels
no flow noises caused by air
minimizing air problems with
circulation pumps
optimum, improved heat transfer
on the heating surfaces and
in the heating boiler
The spraying of gassy water inside the pump
housing ensures utmost effectiveness even
in confined spaces.

The advantage package
After the commissioning, the heating water has a
particular high gas content. This can lead to cold radiators,
particularly on the upper floors.
In case of insufficient water make-up after bleeding the
installation, the diaphragm expansion vessel may contain
no longer water. Consequently pressure drops and
the aspiration of air in the system will be the rsult.
This could be the beginning of a never-ending story that
accompanies many heating systems during their whole
lifetime..
A manual deaeration only once at the initial water makeup
of the heating system is sufficient. All other tasks will
be performed by the ’servitec’.
The water that is particularly gas-saturated after the
commissioning is completely deaerated. The eliminated
gas volume is automatically replaced by the water makeup
water.
The diaphragm expansion vessel always provides a sufficient
quantity of water, is able to operate in a low-wear
manner, and the system pressure is maintained between
tolerated limits.
Even the air that has accumulated during the summer
in the deactivated radiators is quickly removed using the
’servitec’.
Flow noises caused by air are something of the past.
The cavitation occurring at the circulation pumps, particularly
in flat buildings, is avoided.
The intelligent ’servitec’ control monitors the operation
of the heating systems and will issue an alarm if a malfunction
occurs.
The ’servitec 30’ is designed for wall-mounted installation. The system is
integrated into the heating flow close to the diaphragm expansion vessel.
The setting of the control prior to the commissioning is limited to few data: e.g.
date and time
minimum operating pressure:
setting range from 0,5 - 3 bar
p0 = pst + 0,2 bar (recommended)
static pressure (= static height [m] / 10)
Of course, the control box corresponds to the harmonized European
standards and is equipped with the same operating interface as our
well-known ’variomat’, ’reflexomat’, and ’servitec’ controls.
