DiversiLab ®<br />
System for Advanced Microbial Genotyping<br />
The DiversiLab System automates the previously cumbersome method of strain typing and allows for better<br />
genotypic characterization of bacteria, yeast and molds. This helps users identify the source of outbreaks<br />
and helps stop the spread of further contamination throughout your facility. The system can be used to<br />
uncover hidden reservoirs of resistance.<br />
The system provides the next generation in contamination source tracking by allowing quality control/<br />
assurance departments to conduct investigations up to ten times faster than with previous methods.<br />
The system is comprised of 30 Genus-specific Fingerprinting kits, the Agilent ®<br />
2100 Bioanalyzer which utilizes the<br />
lab-on-a-chip device from Caliper Life Science, Inc. and sophisticated software for analysis and reporting of the<br />
fingerprint patterns.<br />
• Highly accurate, reproducible rep-PCR technology with standardized protocols and reagents<br />
• Automated analysis with multiple data viewing features to aid with analysis<br />
• Real-time investigation studies; results in approximately four hours<br />
• Data storage to allow tracking and comparison of pathogens from users proprietary database or<br />
DiversiLab reference database<br />
• Ability to genotype both bacteria and fungi at the strain-level<br />
• An expanding list of libraries for comparison to standard samples<br />
