General Information Order TOC Ordering and Shipments To Order bioMérieux INDUSTRY customer service personnel receive orders Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Time. To place an order call: • Toll Free phone number 800-634-7656 (prompt 1), • Toll Free fax number 800-657-3053 or • email biomerieux.industrycustomerservice@ na.biomerieux.com When ordering, please specify: 1. Your Customer Number 2. Your Purchase Order Number 3. Product Number 4. Quantity Desired 5. Product Description 6. Requested Ship Date Written confirmation of telephone orders is not required. If written confirmation is sent, it must clearly be marked CONFIRMING since duplicate shipments cannot be returned for credit. Terms and Conditions Terms of payment are Net 30 days with approved credit. Shipments may be held on accounts 60 days in arrears. All shipments are F.O.B. shipping point. Shipping and handling charges, insurance and applicable taxes are at the purchaser’s expense and will be prepaid and added to the invoice. All prices are subject to change without notice. Standing Orders To better serve our customers, bioMérieux INDUSTRY encourages standing orders to ensure uninterrupted supply. Changes and/or cancellations should be made at least fifteen (15) working days prior to shipment except for special formulations, which are fixed orders. Special Formulations and Special Production Runs for Media We invite your requests regarding special formulations not appearing in this catalog. Please call your sales representative to inquire. Confidentiality agreements are available upon request. Back Method of Shipment Merchandise will normally be shipped upon receipt of order. Methods of shipping include common carriers, mail or air freight. Orders placed before 3 p.m. Central Time will be shipped the same day except when shipments would be delayed over weekends or holidays. Return Shipments Do not return any material without a Material Return Authorization (MRA) number provided by bioMérieux, Inc. Customer Service. UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS CANNOT BE ACCEPTED AND WILL BE RETURNED AT SENDER’S EXPENSE. Government regulations require dating of many laboratory products and impose conditions, which, in effect, remove any restocking consideration for returned products. A product may not be restocked without the application of the same rigid quality assurance considerations as were applied to the original preparation. Therefore, only products shipped as a result of our error may be returned for credit or exchange. Mistakes in ordering should be reported promptly. Any returns accepted due to the fault of the purchaser will be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Products made to order will not be authorized for return except when the merchandise has been proven to be defective or a shipping error has been made. For products damaged during shipping or received in unsatisfactory condition, the carrier must note the condition on the delivery receipt and bioMérieux INDUSTRY must be notified within 48 hours.
