which last summer marked its 38th season in
Estes Park, Colo.
1934
Wayne Barlow (,37GE) was commissioned by
the New York State Music Teachers' Association
to compose a work for performance at the
association's convention. He is emeritus professor
of composition at the Eastman School:

Composer Gardner Read ('37GE) is an
emeritus professor at Boston University. He
has composed over 100 works, many of which
have been performed by major symphonies
throughout the United States.
1940
Nevin Fisher gave a piano recital in the Pittsburgh
Civic Arena last summer.

Thomas Donahue, an associate in theory at
the Eastman School, has been awarded a
master of divinity degree by St. Bernard's
Seminary in Rochester.
