education funders with <strong>the</strong> most up-to-date and relevant <strong>information</strong><br />
about funding within federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act<br />
(ARRA). Specifically, increase will allow <strong>the</strong> Center to: 1) manage project<br />
administration and coordination; 2) perform maintenance, updates and<br />
create new features for <strong>the</strong> Web portal; 3) collect, analyze and<br />
summarize key research and recommendations around American<br />
Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA); 4) host average of two webinars<br />
or teleconferences per month through June 2010; 5) inform education<br />
funders through ongoing delivery and expansion of weekly newsletter; 6)<br />
hold national conference for key stakeholders and 7) develop and license<br />
access to customized education edition of Philanthropy In/Sight.<br />

site; 2) launch Philanthropy In/Sight - Education Edition, a<br />
custom-designed data visualization tool to help education grantmakers<br />
assess areas where funding investments might have <strong>the</strong> greatest<br />
impact; 3) issue research briefs, shifting <strong>the</strong> focus of <strong>the</strong> e-newsletter to<br />
include more state <strong>information</strong> and update <strong>the</strong> research area of <strong>the</strong><br />
Web-based portal; 4) support <strong>the</strong> Moving Forward conference by providing<br />
statistical <strong>information</strong> on education-related funding; and 5) hold a<br />
monthly series of teleconferences and webinars during <strong>the</strong> coming year<br />
that will focus on issues of most concern to education grantmakers<br />
