Region III<br />

� PDRRMC Zambales distributed food <strong>and</strong> NFIs in coordination with PSWDO<br />

Zambales: 100 packs of food in Castillejos; 50 packs of relief goods in Brgy<br />

Lipay <strong>and</strong> 100 packs of relief goods in Brgy. Babuyan both in Sta. Cruz, Zambales<br />

� MDRRMC Castellejos provided tents to the evacuees in Sitio San Isidro, Brgy<br />

San Pablo<br />

� CDRRMC Cabanatuan City provided relief assistance to the affected population<br />

thereat<br />

Region IV-A<br />

� BDRRMCs in San Mateo, Rizal provided food to their respective evacuees.<br />

Region V<br />

� RDRRMC-OCD V conducted relief operations in Bulan Sorsogon which was<br />

affected by storm surge. The team distributed food <strong>and</strong> non-food items to the<br />

affected families consisting of the following: 30 pcs cooking set; 69 pcs<br />

dinnerware; 89 pcs sleeping mat; 89 pcs thermal blanket (27 queen size <strong>and</strong> 62<br />

pcs twin size); 149 pcs water container (75 pcs at 5 gallons <strong>and</strong> (74 pcs at 2.5<br />

gallon), <strong>and</strong> personal clothings (69 pcs for male, 69 pcs for female, 69 pcs for<br />

toddler, <strong>and</strong> 69 pcs for infant)<br />

Region VI<br />

� PDRRMC Negros Occidental conducted relief operations at the evacuation<br />

centers in affected areas <strong>and</strong> provided 344 family packs (containing 3 kilos rice,<br />

3 tins sardines <strong>and</strong> 3 pouches noodles per pack); 10 sacks of rice; 6 boxes of<br />

sardines, <strong>and</strong> 9 boxes of noodles. Also distributed 50 family packs to MDRRMC<br />

Valladolid <strong>and</strong> 38 family packs to MDRRMC EB Magalona<br />

� MDRRMO Kalibo, Aklan provided relief assistance to the evacuees at the Aklan<br />

Catholic College Gymnasium<br />

� LGU Hinoba-an, Negros Occidental provided 12 sacks of rice, 10 boxes of<br />

sardines <strong>and</strong> 10 boxes of noodles <strong>and</strong> LGU Bago City extended family packs to<br />

its affected families.<br />

2. Health <strong>and</strong> Water Sanitation <strong>and</strong> Hygiene (WASH)<br />

� DOH-HEMS raised Code White Alert status on 30 July 2012; provided medical<br />

consultations to the evacuees in Regions IV-A, VI, CAR <strong>and</strong> NCR through<br />

respective CHDs; activated Surveillance in Post Extreme Emergencies <strong>and</strong><br />

<strong>Disaster</strong>s (SPEED) in Regions IV-A <strong>and</strong> NCR; <strong>and</strong> prepositioned<br />

PhP3,550,000.00 worth of assorted drugs <strong>and</strong> medicines in six (6) affected<br />

regions namely: II, III, IV-A, IV-B, CAR <strong>and</strong> NCR.<br />
