� Most deaths were reportedly caused by drowning (29 incidents).
� On the duration of Typhoon "GENER" within the PAR, eight (8) persons were
reported missing in different instances. Four (4) of them were subsequently
reported dead while only (one) 1 of them was found alive.
� Out of the total number rescued, 113 were passengers of M/V Shuttle RORO 1
which ran aground and got stranded after hitting coral reefs in Looc Tablas
Island Romblon.

� The total number of damaged houses is 9,369: 1,424 totally and 7,945
partially damaged

� Cost of Damages was mostly from Region I (P 245,281,814.00) and CAR (P
159,204,221.13) which were near the center of Typhoon "GENER".
6. Stranded Passengers
� At the height of the typhoon, there were 1,201 passengers stranded in
Regions IV-B and V.
7. Suspension of Classes
� On 29 July 2012, 2nd day of Typhoon "GENER's" existence within the PAR, all
classes in the NCR were suspended as well as in some areas of Regions III,
IV-A and IV-B. Most of these classes resumed on 02 August 2012.
