4.8 DANGEROUS GOODS
NOTIFICATION OF DANGEROUS GOODS ON ARRIVAL

to a port or
anchorage in Sweden
as part of an
international voyage.
The following ships
do not have to report:
- warships and troop
transporting ships
- ships without
propulsion
- wooden ships with
primitive construction
- fishing vessels
Dangerous goods to be brought into the harbour area must be reported to the Port Authority
not later than 24 hours before arriving in the harbour.
The Oil Harbour Regulations govern dangerous goods in the oil harbours.
Notification is given using form appendix III and must include the following data:
• the ship’s name and time of arrival
• information whether the dangerous goods concern loading, unloading or will remain
on board
• name of the agent/ship-owner, telephone number, fax number
• the notification shall be accompanied by a goods specification including at least the
following data:
