Work hours will be one day a week from 9am – 5pm. Study for this certificate is incorporated into<br />
these hours, but some homework effort will also be required.<br />

Academy of Design Grand Opening<br />
Academy of Design Creative <strong>College</strong> is hosting an Open Day at their new premises for students and<br />
their families interested in studying photography, multimedia, graphic design, fashion design,<br />
styling, make-‐up, digital design, screen media or interior design.<br />
When: Thursday 1 November -‐ 4pm to 6:30pm<br />
Where: Shop 150C Pacific Fair Shopping Centre (underneath the cinemas next to the<br />
food court)<br />
Book for a free workshop at info@academyofdesign.com.au giving them your full name, mobile<br />
number, email address, school name and year level.<br />
Senior First Aid Course<br />
Mrs Shary Braithwaite will offer a full senior first aid course on Saturday 3 November from<br />
10:30am – 5pm. You will need to complete some online study beforehand which takes<br />
approximately 3 hours.<br />
Location: Bertoldi Building (downstairs)<br />
Cost: $75 ($30 deposit to secure your place)<br />

Tax File Numbers<br />
If you are in Years 9-‐12 and do not have a Tax File Number -‐ you can pick up an application form at<br />
Student reception or directly from me. Fill in the form and return it to me as soon as possible and I<br />
will process it with the Australian Tax Office.<br />
Appointment Times with the Careers Co-‐ordinator<br />
In order to accommodate the many requested meetings with parents, I will be available on<br />
Monday 29 October and Monday 12 November in much the same way as for Parent Teacher<br />
Interviews. Simply email me with your name and contact details and I will return email with a<br />
timeslot when we can sit and discuss any career questions or concerns that you may have.<br />
