The <strong>MS</strong> <strong><strong>Caledonia</strong>n</strong> <strong>Sky</strong> Due to the refurbishment of the <strong>MS</strong> <strong><strong>Caledonia</strong>n</strong> <strong>Sky</strong> which is currently underway, there are very few internal images available. The vessel is spending the winter of 2011/2012 in a yard in Sweden where she will be treated to seven months of ‘TLC’ ensuring she is in sparkling form for her arrival in London in May 2012. We are fortunate that she is already in excellent shape but her recent history as a private yacht does mean that certain changes have to be made both to the suite arrangements and public areas. The recent owner has lavished funds on areas such as outside teak decks, and stainless steel railings but it is our intention to add a number of extra private balconies and bring back the style for which she was justly famous. For those familiar with the <strong>MS</strong> Island <strong>Sky</strong> she will feel like a second home, although there are some differences. The dining room, lounge, Lido Deck and bar are all similar. However, the ‘Club’ on the <strong>MS</strong> <strong><strong>Caledonia</strong>n</strong> <strong>Sky</strong> has been transported to the very top deck. Here, there is a library and bar which leads out on to a lovely forward deck. The ‘Club’ has wonderful views with ceiling to floor windows.
