visitors per year, the Frankfurt<br />
Messe is the Cont<strong>in</strong>ent’s oldest <strong>and</strong><br />
largest trade fair location. The global<br />
importance of the Frankfurt Messe<br />
is demonstrated by renowned <strong>in</strong>ternational<br />
trade fairs, such as the IAA<br />
(International Car Show), the Book<br />
Fair, <strong>and</strong> the Consumer Goods Fairs<br />
Tendence <strong>and</strong> Ambiente. Over twothirds<br />
of the more than 40,000 exhibitors<br />
travel here each year <strong>from</strong><br />
around the world.<br />
Its many <strong>in</strong>ternational connections<br />
make <strong>Hessen</strong> an attractive location<br />

have locations <strong>in</strong> <strong>Hessen</strong>, <strong>from</strong><br />
where they serve the German<br />
<strong>and</strong> European market. For foreign<br />
employees <strong>and</strong> their families that<br />
means that <strong>in</strong> addition to their own<br />
communities – <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g some of the<br />
largest communities <strong>in</strong> Germany, for<br />
