Procter & Gamble (P & G) is one of the biggest brand manufacturers in the world. P & G has been operating at more
more than 20 sites in Germany since 1960, including three innovation centers with around 1,000 employees in
research and development. P & G has approx. 135,000 employees in nearly 80 countries worldwide, of whom about
17,000 are employed in Germany. Thus the German subsidiary, headquartered in Schwalbach in the Taunus area, is
the biggest subsidiary of P & G outside the United States.
„As a worldwide operating group, we have been closely connected with the business location Hessen for more
than 47 years. We have focused a large part of our operations for Germany in Hessen, with a total of eight sites
and approx. 6,900 employees. With our current investment of 27 million euros in the Eurologistics Center in Weiterstadt
near Darmstadt (south of Frankfurt), the company is now contributing to the strengthening of the site and the
region. After this expansion in Weiterstadt, a large part of our perfume brands and Wella products will be shipped
from here throughout the world.“
