JUNIOR (2008)<br />

Named to the ASC All-East Division Honorable Mention as<br />

a pitcher. Ranked second on the team in strikeouts (64)<br />

and innings pitched (69.0). Finished with a 6-3 record on<br />

the mound in 11 starts. Held opponents to a .242 average,<br />

sixth-best in the ASC. Tossed 7.0 innings, allowed just 3 hits<br />

and fanned 9 against Mary Hardin-Baylor February 29. Gave<br />

up just 6 earned runs in first four outings. Went 8.1 innings<br />

and struck out 7 against Louisiana College April 5. Allowed<br />

only 1 run and struck out 8 in 7.0 innings against Le-<br />

Tourneau March 28. Fanned 9 in back-to-back games and<br />

SOPHOMORE (2007)<br />

Named to the ASC All-East Division Second Team. Finished second on the team<br />

in home runs (4), third in batting (.385) and fourth in RBI (33) and slugging percentage<br />

(.530). Went 4-for-6 with 4 RBI against UT-Dallas March 24. Went 4-for-4<br />

with 3 RBI against Texas Lutheran in playoffs. Hit safely in 25 games. Had 13<br />

games with at least 2 hits. Recorded 9 multiple-RBI games. Pitched the school’s<br />

second modern-day no-hitter in his first appearance of the season. In the nohitter,<br />

he worked 7.0 innings, struck out 9 and did not allow a walk. Did not allow<br />

an earned run in 6.0 innings against Austin College March 10. Went 3-5 in 55.2<br />

innings of work and struck out 43. Was named ASC Pitcher of the Week.<br />
