Named to the ASC All-East Division Second Team. Led the<br />
team in appearances with 17. Posted a 4.37 ERA in 22.2 innings<br />
of work. Fanned 25 and recorded 3 saves, giving him<br />
8 career saves. Tossed 2.0 hitless innings in relief on two<br />
different occasions, including a four-strikeout performance<br />
against East Texas Baptist March 9. Fanned 4 against Lyon<br />
College March 11. Did not give up an earned run in 13 of<br />
his appearances. Did not allow a hit in 8 of his appearances.<br />
SOPHOMORE (2007)<br />
Named to the ASC All-East Division First Team. Finished second in the ASC in<br />
saves (5), while leading the team with a 2.32 ERA. Ranked among top 40 in<br />
NCAA III in saves. Went 3-3 on the mound and struck out 43 in 31.0 innings<br />
of work. His 5 saves set a new single-season school record. Opponents batted<br />
a team-low .207 against him. Gave up just 8 earned runs all season in 17<br />
appearances. Mowed down 6 on two different occasions. During a three-week<br />
conference stretch in April, allowed only 3 hits and did not give up a run in 5 appearances.<br />
Against Mississippi College April 21, pitched 3 scoreless innings and<br />
struck out 6. Struck out 6 against LeTourneau in 2.0 innings of work.<br />

Pitched in 6 games. Finished the season with 6 strikeouts in 7.2 innings of work.<br />
