SOPHOMORE (2008)<br />

Named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/<br />

Rawlings All-America Second Team. Named to the ASC All-<br />

East Division First Team. Among the top offensive players<br />

in the ASC and won the regular season league batting title<br />

with a .478 average. Ended the year with a .467 average,<br />

13th-best in NCAA III. Ranked in the top ten in the ASC in<br />

eight different offensive categories, including second in<br />

hits (79), third in doubles (19), fourth in on-base percentage<br />

(.513), fifth in runs (56), sixth in RBI (54) and total bases (124), and seventh<br />

in slugging percentage (.734). He finished first or second on the team in eight<br />

offensive categories. His average, hit, total bases and doubles totals are new<br />

single-season school records. Ranked 26th in NCAA III in runs, 14th in hits, 25th<br />

in doubles and 23rd in total bases. Hit safely in 40 of 42 games. Had a teambest<br />

26 multiple-hit games. Recorded 15 multiple-RBI games, most on the team.<br />

Stole 8-of-9 bases. Finished season on a 18-game hit streak. Went 5-for-6 with<br />

a homer and 6 RBI against Mississippi College April 13. Finished 8-for-13 with<br />

10 RBI in three-game series against Mississippi College. Drove in 5 runs against<br />

UT-Tyler March 20. Had a triple, double and a pair of singles against Ecclesia<br />

College February 19. Went 4-for-5 with a homer and a double and 3 RBI against<br />

Arkansas Tech University April 16. Totaled 7 hits and 4 RBI in three-game series<br />

against UT-Dallas. Named ASC Hitter of the Week.<br />

FRESHMAN (2007)<br />

Named to the ASC All-East Division Honorable Mention Team. Started in 40<br />

games as a true freshman and hit .303. Tied for second on the team in home<br />

runs (4). Finished fourth on the team in doubles (7) and fifth in RBI (28) and<br />

hits (46). Had 12 multiple-hit games and 9 multiple-RBI games. Had three 3-hit<br />

games. Owned a 16-game hit streak during the season, second-longest on the<br />

team. Went 2-for-3 with 3 RBI and a homer against Mid-America March 13. In<br />

three-game series against Mississippi College, went 5-for-10 with 6 RBI, 5 runs<br />

and the game-winning home run in game three.<br />
