Payne will be on hand to discuss
the film along with Chelsea Sexton one of
the EV1 Specialist in the film. As part of her
platform Loni is a proponent of green building
and sustainable living. Culver City is
already doing many things to become a
carbon neutral and sustainable city, yet
more could be done, she says.

Police, Firefighters
Endorse O'Leary
The Culver City Police Officers
Association and Culver City Firefighters
have announced their endorsements of City
Council Candidate Mehaul O'Leary.
Previous endorsements by former
Culver City Mayor Albert Vera and the
California Restaurant Association were
made last month.
O'Leary will be walking the East
Culver City and Rancho Higuera neighborhoods
this weekend and is looking for volunteers

Back Weissman
The Los Angeles County
Democratic Party (LACDP) has announced
its endorsement of Andrew Weissman for
City Councilman in the City of Culver City.
"It is tremendously gratifying to
have earned the Democratic Party endorsement,"
said Weissman. "Though this is a
non-partisan race, I am a lifelong Democrat,
and I am honored to have earned the support
of the Party."
In addition to the Los Angeles
County Democratic Party, Weissman has
also been endorsed by 13 Culver City
Mayors, a long list of Culver City's current
and past elected and appointed officials, the
Culver City Democratic Club and the Culver
City Chamber of Commerce.
The Los Angeles County
Democratic Party is the official governing body of the Democratic Party in Los Angeles,
working in cooperation with the State and National Democratic Committees.
Supervisor Burke
Endorses Henderson
Los Angeles County Supervisor Yvonne B. Burke has endorsed Dr. Luther
Henderson for the Culver City Council in the April 8 election
Supervisor Burke stated, "I support and endorse Dr. Luther Henderson for the
Culver City Council. I know he will be an excellent councilman."
