Work is in progress in 165 buildings. The prioritization of the remaining
buildings within the lighting replacement comprehensive plan will be based
on Environmental Protection Agency guidance as follows:
1. Buildings with visual leaks;
2. Buildings constructed between 1950 and 1966 that house an
elementary school;
3. Buildings constructed between 1950 and 1966 that house a
secondary school;
4. Buildings constructed between 1967 and 1979 that house an
elementary school;
5. Buildings constructed between 1967 and 1979 that house a
secondary school;
6. Buildings constructed prior to 1950 that house an elementary
school;
7. Buildings constructed prior to 1950 that house a secondary school.
In this capital plan we will only address buildings that have experienced
visible leaks (i.e. Priority Group 1). A summary of the buildings by status is
