Complaints
Recent regulations introduced under The Education Act 2002 requires the
governing bodies of all maintained schools in Wales, including nursery schools, to
establish procedures for dealing with complaints from parents, pupils, members of
staff, governors, members of the local community and others.
As a result it is possible to obtain full details of a School’s Complaints Procedure
from the relevant schools listed on pages 54-56. Non school related complaints
will continue to be made to the Chief Education Officer.
Further advice and guidance on the complaints procedure can be obtained by
contacting Hayley Lewis telephone: 01495 766944.
Details of Chairman of Governors are available from the Governor Support Service
on telephone 01495 766951 or from individual schools.
