BAKER - Joan J. (Jo), a resident of
Galiano Island, passed away
peacefully on July 26, 1986, aged
66. Survived by her loving husband
Don, her daughter Linda Johnson on
Texada Island, her son David in
Vancouver, four grandchildren, a
sister, Elsie Clark (Vancouver), a
brother, Rev. Stan Waddington
(Prince Albert), nieces, nephews and
friends. At Mrs. Baker's request, no
service will be held. In lieu of
flowers, donations may be made to a
charity of your choice. 1

for a right of way on the following
described lands:
Commencing at the
shoreline of B.C. Hydro Right-of-
Way Plan 891 on Lot 9, Parker
Island and crossing Montague
Harbour to terminate at the
shoreline of B.C. Hydro Right-of-
Way Plan 879 on Lot 34, Galiano
-.Island. The application is to
extend the existing B.C. Hydro
bed of the ocean Right-of-Way
1782 O.S. over an area
containing 5.89 ha.
The purpose for which the
disposition is required is to
accommodate the installation of
three new electrical submarine
cables to meet the increasing
energy demands of the outer
Islands.
