Sustainability<br />

At Uni�co, we continue to have an industry leading health and<br />

safety record and make every e�ort to reinforce the need to be<br />

aware of safety in everything we do<br />

People<br />

Attracting and retaining a high quality, professional team<br />

at all levels across the Company remains a priority. Training<br />

is one of the keys to ensuring we have a workforce able to<br />

achieve their and the Company’s potential in a safe<br />

working environment. We continue to develop sustainability<br />

programs to provide work skills that will last long after<br />

mining has �nished at our various operations.<br />

Health and safety<br />

Safety remains the Company’s major operational focus. At<br />

Uni�co, we continue to have an industry leading health and<br />

safety record and make every e�ort to reinforce the need to<br />

be aware of safety in everything we do. We continually put<br />

in place additional training and direct our attention to work<br />

life safety matters<br />

Community<br />

Uni�co is an integral part of the communities within which<br />

the Company operates. We are committed to ensuring that<br />

we positively impact these communities and deliver<br />

outcomes that will be sustained long after we have gone.<br />

We seek to make a positive di�erence to the livelihoods of<br />

the people, acknowledging that we have to co-exist. In<br />

consultation with local communities, management is<br />

intended to developed programs that make a di�erence,<br />

delivering social development, and health and education<br />

outcomes and build local infrastructure such as schools<br />

and health clinics.<br />
