Chairman’s Message It is a sad issue that the world’s economies are in turmoil, everyone from Governments to the banks from Boardrooms to the salesmen all are contributing to the recovery of the economy. We have also been planning for years to contribute our support. Uni�co Group has been working for many years in the �eld of copper Mining. Our project called “RABIA” in the Atacama deserts of Northern Chile, consists on thirteen mining licenses covering an area of about 1,000 hectares in the “Provincia de Huasco”. Our expert team of geologists has been working on this project for the last several years with their expertise, leading to the discovery of an IOCG type deposit in the southern part of the so called Candelaria IOCG Belt. We have to announce also the discovery of an abundant groundwater stream on one of the properties of “RABIA”. With the broad horizon of the project and the objective to serve our future Clients with e�ciency and more economically, we need to be geographically near them. Therefore the Management of Uni�co GmbH is pleased and honored to announce the signing of an agreement in the U.A.E to build a processing plant within the next two years - so all our raw products and services can be provided more e�ciently to Home markets, the Far East and Asia. “We are still working relatively on various issues with the local Governments and Consumers to improve the services and possibly make it more economical” I would like to take the occasion on this imminent inauguration to thank all the people involved for their professional support and commitment, specially the Chilean team of geologists and engineers.
