DisperseTech <strong>Equipment</strong> Catalog "G" Blade This High-vaned blade is designed for turbulent flow to provide fast blending and agitation. It will disperse pigments or flatting agents rapidly in high viscosity or thixotropic systems with minimum heat. DisperseTech - "Heat Hardened" Blade Our heat hardened blades undergo a Malcomizing process. Malcomizing is a gas nitriding processes that provide a surface hardening modification by diffusing nitrogen atoms into ferrous materials at temperatures within the subcritical and stress relieving ranges. During Malcomizing the passive oxide surface film of the stainless steel is broken down to permit nitrogen diffusion into the steel. The resulting hard case developed on the surface provides a wear-and fatigue-resistant layer with little significant change in corrosion resistance. Most of our metal blade styles can be heat hardened. DisperseTech "K" Blade A popular and versatile blade differing only slightly from the F style. Requires less horsepower and is applicable in operations where the available horsepower is borderline for the batch size DisperseTech "P" Blade This blade produces good shear and exhibits excellent wear resistance. This blade does not have a unique top and bottom, so it can be turned over for added life. DisperseTech "Q" Blade This cutting blade is used for its superiority for cutting fiberous materials.
