Open Business: Potentate Colbert
discussed the following:
1. Praise for all involved in the presentation
of the Fall Ceremonial.
2. He called forward new Noble David
Roetman and his sponsor Noble
Larry Zickman for the purpose of
presenting him with his fez, as he
was unable to stay for that portion
of the Ceremonial on Nov. 5.
3. He called forward Noble Gary
Greenleaf and presented him with
his new Associate Member Dues
Card.

Chief of Staff: None
Football: Committee Chairman
Harland Danielsen gave a brief report
outlining plans for next year’s game.
He moved approval of his report.
Upon proper second, it was approved.
Shrine Cup: Committee member
Doug Costar gave a brief report outlining
plans for next year’s event. He
moved approval of his report. Upon
proper second, it was approved.
Circus: 2011 Circus Chairman
Marv Lovro began with another rambling
joke that ended with a pretty
good punch line. He reported that four
new major sponsorships have signed
on for 2012, and the committee is
working on others. He announced that

28th to work with committee members
from both In-town and Out-of-town circuses.

Hospital: Kent Morstad, P.P., TCU
Board Member reported on the new
model under consideration for the
TCU. Negotiations with Gillette Chil -
dren’s Hospital are on-going. He
moved approval of his report. Upon
proper second, it was approved.
Membership: Chairman Les Kruse
began his report with a (sick) joke. He
then reported that 41 new Nobles
were created at the Fall Ceremonial,
and announced plans for a Cold
Sands on Nov. 30th. Committee members
and Divan members will be working
on the list of nobles at risk of suspension.
He moved approval of his
report. Upon proper second, it was
approved.
Public Relations: Committee member
Tom Johnson reported on KDLT
TV’s coverage of the testimonial given
by Shrine patient Paige Stoltzman at
the Fall Ceremonial. He also ex -
pressed the pride felt by all, as her
father Rolland received his fez that
day. He moved approval of his report.
Upon proper second, it was approved.
Cactus: Editor Gary Smith began
his report with a very good joke. He
gave deadlines for the next issue,
which will be a combined Dec/Jan
issue. He moved approval of his
report. Upon proper second, it was
approved.
Masonic Relations: Masonic Rela -
tions Chairman Reid Jensen gave
dates for upcoming Rush Parties and
Degree work at the local Lodges. He
passed out information on the Mentor
Program, and urged all nobles present
to make a commitment to attend
Lodge at least once before year’s end.

Stop Burns: Chairman Larry John -
son gave a brief review of this year’s
activities. He moved approval of his
report. Upon proper second, it was
approved.
