Scientific seminars, workshops and companies presentations also were held during exhibition days of KIHE 2012. The exhibition offered a saturated business programme: 20 workshops and presentations were for the first time held concurrently on two sites in different pavilions. Representatives of exhibiting companies presented cutting-edge treatment and diagnostic technologies and methods. Vyacheslav Lokshin, President of the Association of Representatives of Pharmaceutical Companies in Kazakhstan, said: “Such events offer the shortest distance for new technologies to enter the domestic market as even in the age of Internet it is only within exhibition events that you can see state-of-the-art developments and achievements of medical science with your own eyes”.
