George Enfi eld, MHR, Med, PCC, is an <strong>in</strong>dependently Licensed Counselor<br />
<strong>in</strong> the state of Ohio, where he currently works with preadolescent<br />
boys <strong>and</strong> <strong>in</strong>fants <strong>and</strong> toddlers. He has been work<strong>in</strong>g with children s<strong>in</strong>ce<br />
1993 <strong>and</strong> has a broad range of experiences <strong>in</strong> <strong>in</strong>dividual <strong>and</strong> family counsel<strong>in</strong>g,<br />
<strong>in</strong> both <strong>in</strong>patient <strong>and</strong> outpatient group sett<strong>in</strong>gs. This broad spectrum<br />
of experience has taught him that clients provide both the language<br />
<strong>and</strong> desire to work on their own issues <strong>and</strong> it is our job as cl<strong>in</strong>icians to<br />
hear them <strong>and</strong> adapt what we know about counsel<strong>in</strong>g to them so that<br />
they are able to make the most of the treatment.<br />
Dora F<strong>in</strong>amore , EdD, is a professor at Northcentral University <strong>and</strong> has<br />
worked as a psychotherapist for the past 25 years. She is a Registered<br />
<strong>Play</strong> Therapist <strong>and</strong> found<strong>in</strong>g editor of the Florida <strong>Play</strong> Therapy Association<br />
Newsletter. Dr. F<strong>in</strong>amore has served on the task force for ethics<br />
<strong>and</strong> policy for the Association for <strong>Play</strong> Therapy. She is a teacher of play<br />
therapy, child psychology, positive psychology, cognitive psychology, <strong>and</strong><br />
peace <strong>and</strong> social justice studies. She has been published numerous times<br />
<strong>and</strong> has worked extensively with clients <strong>and</strong> professionals on parent<strong>in</strong>g,<br />
grief, <strong>and</strong> trauma. Her research <strong>in</strong>terests are learned helplessness, positive<br />
psychology, resilience, <strong>and</strong> personality. Her most recent publication<br />
is on resilience.<br />
Danny F<strong>in</strong>geroth was the longtime Group Editor of Marvel Comics’<br />
Spider-Man l<strong>in</strong>e, was consultant on early versions of what was to become<br />
the 2002 Spider-Man movie, <strong>and</strong> has written many comic books for Marvel<br />
<strong>and</strong> other companies. He is the author of Superman On the Couch:<br />
What Superheroes Really Tell Us About Ourselves <strong>and</strong> Our Society<br />
(2004) <strong>and</strong> of Disguised as Clark Kent: Jews, Comics <strong>and</strong> the Creation<br />
of the Superhero (2007). F<strong>in</strong>geroth has spoken about comics <strong>and</strong> popular<br />
culture at venues <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g The Smithsonian Institution <strong>and</strong> Comic-<br />
Con International, San Diego, as well as on National Public Radio’s All<br />
Th<strong>in</strong>gs Considered <strong>and</strong> NBC’s Today Show, <strong>and</strong> has written about them<br />
for publications <strong>in</strong>clud<strong>in</strong>g The Los Angeles Times <strong>and</strong> The Baltimore<br />
Sun. He teaches comics <strong>and</strong> graphic novel writ<strong>in</strong>g <strong>and</strong> appreciation at<br />
New York University <strong>and</strong> The New School. His Rough Guide to Graphic<br />
Novels will be published <strong>in</strong> 2008.<br />
